In 2015, Angel launched TheFreckledMuse.com, an independent creative media platform covering entertainment, fashion, The culture, and politics, known for its candid commentary and fearless storytelling. She later created and co-hosted The Muse Report, an award-winning radio show that gave women a space for honest conversations while providing local artists and entrepreneurs with free promotional airtime. In 2017, she re-released The Muse Tape, an all-poetry mixtape, followed by her coffee-table book, The Art of Being Fly. During the pandemic, her poetry videos reached an international audience, leading to performances and tours alongside renowned spoken-word artists. She returned home and began curating Open Mics and then created Muse Talk, a sold-out annual poetry and music series featuring a live band and an eclectic lineup of performers. Today, Angel continues to expand her work as a multidisciplinary writer and storyteller. From developing stories for film and television to taking the stage as a featured spoken-word artist at events, festivals, and other live productions. Her creative services span writing for other artists, event hosting and MC work, event moderation, featured spoken-word performances, speaking engagements, and more. She enjoys curating artistic experiences creating safe spaces for artists to develop their craft and connect with each other and industry gate keepers. Beyond the stage, she takes on select creative projects and commissions, including custom-written poetry, song and audio features, business jingles. She also creates original visual artwork that blends her love of words and art. Alongside these ventures, she has recently revived The Freckled Muse through Substack and is preparing for her first book tour ahead of the early 2027 release of her debut poetry collection, Dear God Please Send Me My Husband: It's Gettin' Real Ghetto Out Here — Poems & Reflections by Angel White. Angel remains passionate about uplifting marginalized communities, speaking out against injustice, and using her voice to positively affect the culture. From sharing her personal thoughts and experiences to keeping her audience informed on the issues, stories, and conversations worth paying attention to, she has always believed in the power of using her platform to make people think, spark dialogue, and contribute to a more informed and conscious society.
